Advertising specialties or promotional pieces are items on which you print your name or company’s name, sometimes the address, phone number, web site, or the tag line. Some examples are ball point pens, T-shirts, bumper stickers, mouse pads, coffee mugs, etc. These items are the equivalent of a billboard with one great exception – potential clients don’t even have to leave their desk or home or receive your message on a regular basis. From a marketing standpoint … that’s a very powerful position to be in as a marketer.
These items (and trust me, there are tens of thousands of them for your creative mind to put to work) are great for mediators and arbitrators to use in their arsenal of marketing tools. Think of stress balls, scratch pads, pens, sweat towels, herbal tea, or maybe board games that deal with communication. The possibilities are endless.
Now, do people really pay attention to the stuff you give them? Well, that depends upon the stuff. For instance 72% of people look at a calendar five or more times a day. That adds up to 1,800 calendar consultations per year. Of even more interest to marketers is that 40% of people consult their calendar TEN TIMES PER DAY!
If you need some help finding promotional advertising pieces that express your ADR message to potential clients, give me a call, I’ll help you find a specialty company in your neighborhood.
